Simply Supper’s Lemonade Stand Day
Sunday, August 25, 2019
Simply Supper Helps is excited to partner with the
Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation
for the 6th Annual Lemonade Stand Day.
Calling all those young budding philanthropists – we need your help!
We are asking kids to host lemonade stands throughout the City of Edmonton and area on Lemonade Stand Day.
Simply Supper takes care of all the details. We supply the lemonade mix, cups and a full kit of decorations and supplies so kids just need to host the stand!
This is an excellent opportunity for young kids to learn how to:
- run a business
- learn customer service
- learn how to count and make change
- learn appreciation of how hard it is to make money
- learn how to give back to their community!
This year, we hope to scatter 500+ lemonade stands all over the city in support of the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation; last year we had 440+ stands in Edmonton and area and as far north as Cold Lake, west as Jasper and south as Pigeon Lake; children all over Alberta are getting involved.
This year’s funds will help purchase Giraffe CareStation Omnibeds for the Stollery NICUs at the Royal Alexandra Hospital site and the new NICU at the Sturgeon Community Hospital.
These beds provide a warm and safe environment for our smallest babies to continue to develop. The beds provide easy access for both doctors and parents to be able to interact with their preterm infants. Our goal is to purchase five Giraffe CareStation Omnibeds at $58,000 each.
This fundraiser lets our kids help kids.

The Simply Supper Helps Junior Lemon Squeezers in our community have hosted lemonade stands throughout the City of Edmonton for the past 5 years, raising over $425,000 for local charities.
With the creation of this program, our goal still is to scatter lemonade stands all over the city in support of the Simply Supper Helps commitment to local charities. Signs are created, tables are decorated and our little, but strong, entrepreneurs put on a fierce sales and marketing campaign: grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and neighbours receive kid-inspired telemarketing calls, tweets, Facebook posts, flyers and other grass roots outreach.
We are simply proud of support our Junior Lemon Squeezers:
2014 – 30 stands raised over $4,000 for charities in Edmonton.
2015 – 75 stands raised over $22,000 for the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
2016 – 135 stands raised over $50,000 for the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
2017 – 270 stands raised over $140,000 for the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
2018 – 445 stands raised over $217,000 for the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
We would like to say a huge thank-you to our generous sponsors.
