Thaw completely (We recommend thawing in the fridge for 1-2 days). Preheat skillet to med/high heat. While this is heating up, start making rice as per instructions. Add chicken to pan and sear on each side for 4-5 minutes. Add the contents of the sauce bag to the pan with the chicken and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes (turning chicken half way through) or until internal temperature reaches 165F. Serve chicken and sauce on top of a bed of hot rice. INSTANT POT INSTRUCTIONS: Thaw meal for best results. Begin preparing rice separately on the stovetop. Empty contents of chicken bag in the Instant Pot and cook on Sauté setting until slightly golden, 2-3 minutes. You can skip this step, but it does add flavour. Add contents of sauce bag and cook on High Pressure Meat setting for 8-10 minutes and QR. Stir the chicken and sauce. If you’d like to thicken the sauce, add a cornstarch slurry of 1-2 Tbsp of cornstarch mixed with an equal amount of cold water and slowly stir into the sauce on the Sauté setting until thickened. Serve chicken over a bed of rice. Enjoy!
