Thaw completely (we recommend thawing meal in the fridge for 1-2 days). Begin boiling water for pasta. Heat a skillet to med-high heat. Add sausage and sauté until golden brown, approx 3-4 minutes. Add bag of onions and stir (breaking the sausage up) and reduce heat to med-low and sim- mer for additional 5 minutes. Place pasta into boiling water (it should take around 8-10 minutes). Add sauce to skillet with sausage in it. Simmer for 8-10 minutes. Drain pasta and add to the sauce pan and mix together. Enjoy!!! INSTANT POT INSTRUCTIONS: For best results, cook this meal fresh or with thawed sausage. Begin boiling water for pasta on stovetop. Empty contents of the onion bag in the IP and Sauté for 2 minutes until softened. Add the sauce bag and Italian Sausage (Fresh or Frozen – If using fresh, break up meat while adding to pot. If cooking from frozen, your sausage will cook in a single piece and will have to be broken up after it is cooked. Frozen will take longer to come to pressure and will take longer to cook) and cook on High Pressure, Meat for 17 minutes and quick release (QR). You can thicken the sauce by adding a cornstarch slurry of 1-2 Tbsp of cornstarch mixed with an equal amount of cold water and slowly stir it into the sauce on the Sauté setting until thickened. Add pasta to boiling water and cook to desired tenderness. Drain and set aside. Serve with cooked noodles. Enjoy!
