The Kids at Simply Supper Helps are Adding a
Sweet Lemon Twist to your YEG Summer
Simply Supper Helps and its youngest volunteers simply love summer and we want to squeeze some love into our community by hosting a Lemonade Stand Day to raise money. Once again this year we have partnered with the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and will be supporting the Music Therapy Program at the Stollery Children’s Hospital. It’s a fun-raiser created by our kids to help kids.
The Music Therapy Program at the Stollery use music to address physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of children of all ages. Music offers children a chance to create and bring that which is inside to the outside, for all to hear and experience.
Simply Supper Helps is excited to be partnering with the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation for its
3rd Annual Lemonade Stand Day.
And we are seeking kids. As a way of involving your budding philanthropists in this initiative, we are asking your kids to host lemonade stands throughout the city of Edmonton on Sunday, August 21st. Simply Supper will supply the lemonade mix, cups and a full kit of decorations – the kids just need to host the stand!
Our goal is simply to scatter 100+ lemonade stands all over the city in support of Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation.

The Simply Supper Helps Junior Lemon Squeezers in our community have hosted lemonade stands throughout the City of Edmonton for the past 2 years, raising over $26,000 for local charities.
With the creation of this program, our goal was to scatter lemonade stands all over the city in support of the Simply Supper Helps commitment to local charities. Signs were created, tables were decorated and our little, but strong, entrepreneurs put on a fierce sales and marketing campaign: grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and neighbours received kid-inspired telemarketing calls, tweets, Facebook posts, flyers and other grass roots outreach.
We are simply proud of our Junior Lemon Squeezers:
2014 - Our 30 stands raised over $4,000 for charities in Edmonton.
2015 - Our 75 stands raised over $22,000 for the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation.
